Thompson Street Farm LLC is a small family farm on 1.3 acres located at 49 Thompson Street in South Glastonbury Connecticut. Our vegetables are grown in 22 raised beds. In addition, we also have specially designed greenhouses for our organic micro greens and are used during the growing season.
Having been a South Glastonbury farm since 2009, we produce handcrafted products of the best quality in the area. As well, all our produce is grown by Brenda and Paul Sullivan, using the SPIN Farming method (Small Plot Intensive Farming).
We are a Pledge Farm through CT-NOFA (Northeast Organic Farmers Association), which means, we use no chemicals and/or pesticides, no GMO seeds and follow the growing guidelines for organic growers.
In addition to our vegetables, we make hand crafted herbal goats milk soaps using the fresh herbs, flowers and vegetables grown on the farm. These products and other bath and body products are sold under the name Farm to Bath. If we can’t grow the products ourselves (e.g. we source our goats milk from another farmer), we purchase from our neighbors or acquire ingredient from other suppliers here in the state. Sometimes it doesn’t always work out and we have to go out of state, but we work hard to keep our commitment to the meaning local means "local".
Our produce and bath products are sold at the South Windsor Farmers Market on Saturdays (10 AM - 1 PM) during the growing season and online.
